Felicity Takes a dare
Although I would totally love to share book scans done by others on this blog, I usually like to share scans that I’ve done myself so I don’t have to worry about giving the proper credit/I can keep track of what IL scans I have in my personal collection. However, since the last 2 weeks was just AG magazine stuff, I figured I should probably reblog this.
When I have my own scans for this book I’ll probably delete this post and make a new post, mostly because the first scan isn’t at the same size/quality as the others in the set.
Samantha’s Blue Bicycle
Illustrations by Dan Andreasen
(This story was originally published in AG Magazine with different illustrations by Deborah Chabrian. Check it out here!)
(Last one for now! Some things to look forward to: more short story illustrations (at the very least one more Josefina and Kirsten one), some of Samantha’s older illustrations, the original brown-haired Elizabeth in Felicity’s illustrations, and maybe even Addy’s old illustrations! :>)
Samantha’s Special Talent
Illustrations by Dan Andreasen and Troy Howell
Kirsten on the Trail
Illustrations by Renée Graef
So the individual copy of A Reward for Josefina came with a recipe for a Piñón Nut Pastel (Pine Nut Pie) and I figured I already had a recipe tag on this blog….
The other individual short-story books have crafts and other stuff at the end of the book that I believe are absent from the short-story volume collections. Anyone interested in me scanning in those craft sections? Some of them are kinda lame (Wow! I wanna start my own bicycle club! How do I do that AG?), but maybe some folks really want to see them?

The Beautiful Blue Bicycle/Samantha’s Blue Bicycle
First published in March/April 1995

(The illustrations have changed between the magazine and short story version and let me tell you, the book illustrations suuuuuuck
But regardless, you can see the book illustrations by Dan Andreasen over here)
