American Girl Heaven

Felicity Takes a dare

Although I would totally love to share book scans done by others on this blog, I usually like to share scans that I’ve done myself so I don’t have to worry about giving the proper credit/I can keep track of what IL scans I have in my personal collection. However, since the last 2 weeks was just AG magazine stuff, I figured I should probably reblog this.

When I have my own scans for this book I’ll probably delete this post and make a new post, mostly because the first scan isn’t at the same size/quality as the others in the set.

musenoodling:

Who else read the American Girl books as a kid? My younger siblings are getting into them now as they go along with history studies so I have been reintroduced to it all! These are what Itty Bitty humans look like. Animals are easier than people for me so humanish commissions are $2 instead of animals for $1 (will also take equivalent in dA point or Subeta moneyz). Commission info post to come soon, along with some more detailed traditional art, I promise!Characters here are property of American Girl.

Felicity’s Webpage Theme -2005

The music is disappointingly short :[

(Also, my apologies is the sound quality is poor; this is my first experience with recording music online. If you have any suggestions or tips to improve the quality, please let me know!)

So the Nov/Dec 2005 of AG Magazine had an interview with the actress playing Felicity in the then-new Felicity movie. I figured some of you guys would be interested in this.
(The July/Aug 2012 issue also has a similar shtick with an interview of the girl playing McKenna, but I don’t have any access to a scanner at the moment).

You may have noticed as you read the books as a kid that all of the girls in the historical AG line have birthdays in the spring, most of the birthdays happening from March to May. The only exceptions are Kirsten, whose birthday is on June 8th, and Kaya, whose culture doesn’t really have a celebration for birthdays (AG tends to celebrate it around the Nimipuu Salmon Runs Celebration, usually in August).
I usually like to celebrate each character’s birthday in some way, weather it’s just drawing that character in their birthday outfit or just making a mental note to myself. School and life tend to become stressful around this point in time I find, so celebrating these character’s birthdays in some way is a nice distraction for me.
I’d like to post something for each character on their birthday on this blog, but I’m still mulling over what I should post exactly. Be sure to keep your eyes pealed in the near-future!
